Dear colleagues,
The Institute of Anthropology, in collaboration with the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb and the association “International Congress on Roman Bioarchaeology”, is organizing the international scientific conference “4th Annual Conference of the International Congress on Roman Bioarchaeology”, which will be held in a hybrid format at the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb from August 31 to September 2, 2025 (https://www.icorb.org/).
The conference will be attended by a number of world experts in the fields of human osteology, paleopathology, zooarchaeology, funerary archaeology, paleobotany, archaeothanatology and related sciences from the ancient period, who will present the latest results of their research through oral and poster presentations.
For the needs of the organization, immediately before and during the conference, we invite interested students of anthropology and/or archaeology to contact us if they would like to volunteer at the congress itself. Given the size of the scientific conference, we need four volunteers. Volunteers will be allowed to attend all presentations, the opening ceremony and the final gathering of all participants free of charge.
