On Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, an award ceremony was held at the Croatian National Theater of the National programme “For Women in Science” organized by L’Oréal Adria and the Croatian committee for UNESCO at the Ministry of Culture and Media. Among four young women who have received this year’s scholarship was Maja Šetinc, an assistant at our Institute, who is completing her PhD under the mentorship of our colleague dr Tatjana Škarić-Jurić. Other winners were Ana Erceg (Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb), Petra Radić (Department for Cardiovascular Diseases of Sestre Milosrdnice University Hospital Center) and Valentina Štimac (Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb).
