The Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) awarded the employee of the Institute of Anthropology, Ph.D. Mario Novak, a research scholarship as part of the “MTA Distinguished Guest Scientist Fellowship 2024” competition. The award is given to excellent guest scientists and includes funding for a three-month research stay in Hungary. A scientific project called “Reconstructing chronology, demography and mobility of the Middle Bronze Age populations along the Danube River” will be conducted in collaboration with Associate Professor Dr. Tamas Hajdu at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest during 2024.
