13th Congress of the European Anthropological Association: „A Quarter Century of the European Anthropological Association – Reflections and Perspectives“

A 13th Congress of the European Anthropological Association was held in Zagreb from August 30 to September 3, 2002, under the name A Quarter Century of the European Anthropological Association (EAA) – Reflections and Perspectives. The Congress brought together 419 scientists from 36 countries in Europe and the rest of the world. 30 lectures were held in 6 plenary sections, with 172 oral presentations and 234 posters. Through a wide range of anthropological topics, the emphasis was on reviewing the EAA’s achievements to date and defining its future goals, especially in strengthening cooperation and expanding opportunities for anthropological education within Europe. P. Rudan was the president, and the employees of the Institute A. Sujoldžić, B. Janićijević, N. Smolej Narančić, L. Barać, M. Peričić and P. Rajić were members of the Organizing Committee of the Congress.
